Data Analyst (Oracle SQL, Tableau, Criminal Justice)

Job Title : Data Analyst (Oracle SQL Tableau Criminal Justice)

Location : Atlanta GA (Remote )

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Extract primary data from Oracle databases using SQL
• Interpret data analyze results using statistical techniques and produce ongoing reports
• Provide timely and accurate data to fulfill internal and external data requests
• Identify compile and clean data for research projects
• Identify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Oversee evaluation and research projects
• Communicate evaluation plans and details to leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with external research partners to ensure understanding of data points and data sets
• Develop and monitor internal and external data requests
• Manage summarize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
• Summarize and explain research findings and their implications
• Prepare findings for publication
• Develop review and abstract published research
• Produce data visualization dashboards using Tableau

• Bachelors degree in a related field and experience in a related lead or supervisory role
  
  OR
• Associates degree in a related field and related experience including time in a lead or supervisory role
  
  OR
• Experience at the lower-level IT Business Analyst role or equivalent position

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
  • Reporting packages (e.g. Business Objects)
  • Databases (SQL Oracle)
  • Programming (XML JavaScript ETL frameworks)
• Experience accessing and extracting data from institutional or organizational databases
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy and the ability to disseminate significant amounts of information
• Experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis
• Proficiency in queries report writing and presenting findings
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
