Evaluate, examine, and monitor product, processing, packaging, and coding to ensure that the product and process meet company, customer, state, and federal requirements. Monitor CP's. Perform ongoing quality checks on all products. Document all findings and submit reports to various members of management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all GMP's, safety practices, and company policies.
• Comply with all food safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee and ensure that all quality functions are completed at designated frequencies and that acceptable results are achieved.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures related to job responsibilities.
• Set up QC station with all necessary equipment for quality inspections. Equipment includes computers, printers, scales, grading trays, a thermometer, a refractometer, and other receiving devices.
• Set up box coder per management specifications.
• Inspect product for quality compliance and record findings on required documentation.
• Report any foreign material found in QC or line inspector sample to FSQA Manager and/or Production Manager immediately.
• Acquire three samples per pallet and enter findings in Produce Track to print pallet tag. Place pallet tags on front and back of each pallet.
• Check processed product exiting the IQF for in specification temperature every hour. Record findings on temperature log, if temperature is not in specification contact FSQA Manager or Production Manager immediately.
• Collect Micro samples every 25th pallet unless otherwise directed by the FSQA Manager or Production Manager. Record information on chain of custody.
• Enforce GMP's and Food Safety, report any infractions to FSQA Manager or Production Manager.
• Alternate duties as directed by supervisor.

• Performs all essential duties in a satisfactory manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to complete and interpret documents such as QC reports, QC equipment instructions, and lab results.
• Must be able to use common sense and comprehension to carry out the details of job functions.
• Thorough knowledge of information technology systems. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Frequently required to use hands and arms to reach and move materials, finished products, or other things.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Regularly lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally 30 lbs. or more.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee is regularly exposed to cold temperatures and may be occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot temperatures for shorter periods of time
