JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this position performs complex course development for and training of TRS operational staff within the Division. Work involves assessing training needs; designing and developing training and development courses and materials; conducting classroom and on-the-job training; assisting in developing/revising department policies, procedures and processes; and providing comprehensive technical assistance and customer service to staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
• Bachelor degree from (4) year accredited college/university and/ or five years’ experience working within a financial related position, call center, or experience working with a defined benefit plan.
• Proven work experience in training, facilitating, or similar role.
• Experience conducting presentations, seminars and/or workshops for medium to large groups.
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency using learning management systems (LMS) and digital training tools.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and possess solid analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management or related field.
• Experience assessing training needs, developing training needs, and conducting classroom training.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, or instructional delivery techniques.
• Solid knowledge of training techniques, various training models; stays current on development and innovation in training and education.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, critical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex assignments. • Ability to demonstrate confidence and ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well.
• Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities and deadlines.
