Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the MS E*TRADE Web Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, and a proven ability to design and develop high-volume, highly available systems. This role requires expertise in SOA-based system solutions, web services, and multi-tiered web-based systems. The candidate should be a creative thinker, self-starter, and team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance end-to-end system solutions based on SOA pattern modeling integration.
• Design high-volume, highly available systems, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Utilize Eclipse/JDeveloper for developing SOA composites.
• Implement SOAP and REST-based web services using Spring, Spring Integration, and Hibernate.
• Work with Java, Sybase, Oracle, ORMs, SQL, JDBC, and Embedded SQLS.
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and related frameworks.
• Leverage tools like Subversion, Make, and Maven for development and deployment.
• Apply industry standards, architectures, and design principles for complex, heterogeneous systems.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to design and implement complex applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Java server technologies like J2EE and servlets.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
• Experience with tools like Tomcat and Maven for Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and methodologies.
• Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST and SOAP, and API design for extensibility and portability.
• Experience with client-side technologies like AJAX, JQuery, and JavaScript (preferred).
• Creative thinker with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay Range: $60 - $64

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
