As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll manage daily warehouse operations in support of auto parts production. You’ll lead a team, ensure smooth shipping/receiving, maintain accurate inventory, and enforce safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Supervise Team:Manage and motivate warehouse staff, forklift drivers, and material handlers.
- Shipping/Receiving:Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, working with suppliers and carriers.
- Inventory Control:Maintain accurate stock levels and resolve discrepancies.
- Material Handling:Ensure proper movement and storage of materials and products.
- Warehouse Organization:Keep the space clean, safe, and efficient (using 5S and lean practices).
- Safety Compliance:Enforce safety rules and ensure use of PPE and equipment checks.
- System Use:Work with WMS/ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
- Improve Operations:Suggest ways to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Team Collaboration:Coordinate with other departments like production and logistics.
- High school diploma required; college degree in logistics/supply chain preferred.
- 3–5 years of warehouse experience (manufacturing/automotive preferred).
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Experience with inventory and ERP/WMS systems (like SAP or Oracle).
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, equipment use).
