QA Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a QA Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Kennesaw, GA(Hybrid). Responsibilities include testing Data Analytics applications, coordinating efforts with offshore teams, executing automation test cases, and reporting daily progress during Scrum ceremonies.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Testing Data Analytics applications and databases to ensure quality and functionality.

• Coordinating with offshore testers, developers, and Scrum Masters to meet testing deliverables.

• Executing automation test cases and converting requirements into test cases.

• Participating in the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans and test scripts within qTest.

• Communicating daily progress and status updates to stakeholders.

• Attending Scrum ceremonies and collaborating with upstream and downstream teams.

• Performing API testing, mobile testing, and SQL database testing.

• Generating test metrics and reports to track progress and quality.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7-10 years in Automation and Manual Testing, with experience in Agile environments.

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and HiveQL.

• Experience with Hadoop, ETL/Database testing, and tools like qTest/ALM Octane.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
