Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at a K-12 school in McDonough, GA, for the current school year under a contract arrangement. This role requires a Georgia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist and an active or in-process Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) teacher certification.
This position offers a flexible school-hour schedule, serving at a single school site with a caseload of approximately 35-38 students. The role is ideal for SLP professionals with experience in school-based or pediatric settings and is open to both newly graduated Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs. Virtual applicants must have a minimum of two years school experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active or applied-for Georgia PSC teacher certification
- Valid Georgia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in schools or pediatric therapy
- Clinical Fellows and experienced onsite or virtual SLPs considered (virtual candidates require two years of school experience)
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Managing caseloads effectively, typically 35-38 students
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Adhering to state and school district policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate documentation and treatment plans
