Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Camilla, GA . In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. We are offering a retention bonus of $4,000 . This bonus is paid out in four installments after the first week, 90 days, 6 months and first year.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Utilization of Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Ladders, Fall Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of (1) year of Refrigeration work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of a Refrigerationmaintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year.
• This facility accepts rehires only after 180 days, and having worked less than 3 times.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must present valid Identification
• Must be willing to use basic hand tools
• Must be willing to possibly work overtime and weekends
• Completion of computer-based training and data entry into the SAP system
• Must be able to read and understand assignments.
• Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, willing to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather
