**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff and visitors.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe for security-related concerns and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with store management, staff, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
