What Youll Do as a Precast Senior Designer

• Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound cost-effective and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
• Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
• Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength durability and sustainability standards.
• Create accurate drawings plans and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
• Support cost estimation for materials
• Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes technologies and advancements in the precast-prestressed field.
• Promote utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.

Salary Range $100000-$150000

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience qualifications/education and other factors. Requirements

What You Bring Your Expertise as a Precast Senior Designer

• 10 plus years of precast design experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults manholes drainage structures and pump stations).
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
• Familiarity with ACI 318 ACI 350 ASCE-7 AASHTO
• Familiarity with IBC codes a plus
• Professional Engineering License (PE) a plus but not required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
