OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Savannah, GA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work nationwide for HMD Trucking out of Savannah, operating as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver on long-haul routes with consistent freight and a driver-focused dispatch crew.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport dry van freight across regional and national lanes.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs and perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
• Update dispatch and customers on delivery status and routing.

Equipment & pay: Starting pay is 65 CPM with typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles; safety, inspection and referral incentives available. Trucks are under three years and equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, with reliable in-house maintenance. Home every two weeks and full benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)).

Requirements: Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
