Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
• Contract Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 7, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,590 - $1,640
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia RN license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• AWOHNN certification
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cumming, GA

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs in a clinical setting
• Assist with deliveries and provide support to obstetric and healthcare teams
• Administer medications and IVs as required
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Accurately document all patient care activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
