POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. Together, we take immense pride in producing and distributing the brands that our customers trust and that bring joy to pets' lives. As the Technical Training Specialist (Maintenance), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team. You will be at the forefront of driving World Class Manufacturing practices, ensuring that the team is equipped with the latest competencies to excel in their roles. From designing and implementing training programs to fostering leadership development and spearheading pillar activities, you will be the driving force behind the continuous growth and improvement of the maintenance personnel.
- Oversee the development of standardized onboarding for the factory maintenance teams including content and development of key competencies.
- Coordinate ongoing competence management for maintenance personnel.
- Deploy a digital competence management platform and continue development of a digital structure strategy for the Maintenance Team.
- Recommend improvements to the World Class Technical Training Center, including development of training modules and oversight of curriculum.
- Own content and execution methods for training and coaching the Maintenance Team.
- Partner with local and divisional stakeholders for approval, coordination, development, and prioritization of needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.
- 1+ years' experience in training and development, overseeing programs, and leading educational initiatives.
OR
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000-$90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
