CDL-A Driver Mentor 1,900 to 2,300/ Wk

Stop driving solo and start leading. We are looking for professional CDL-A drivers to join our Driver Mentor Program. This position is designed for drivers who want to maximize their income by being paid for every mile the truck moves, while enjoying a significantly better home-time schedule.

Weekly Earning Potential

We keep our Mentors moving. With priority dispatch and a trainee on board, our trucks consistently average 3,500 miles per week.

• Base pay: $0.55 to $0.65 CPM based on experience
• Mentor premium: +$0.10 CPM on all miles
• Productivity bonus: +$0.04 CPM on all miles
• Total rate: $0.69 to $0.79 CPM
• Average weekly pay: $1,900 to $2,300
• Top 30% of Mentors average $2,300 per week

How It Works

• Efficient stacking: After your student completes their 5-hour driving requirement, you take over to finish the remaining 9 hours and maximize truck mileage
• Observation and training: Your expertise ensures the student learns safety and trip planning while the truck stays in motion
• Priority dispatch: Mentors receive priority load assignments to keep the wheels turning

Bonuses

• Fast Start: $250 for your 1st student pickup + $250 for your 1st student dispatch
• Safety milestones: $500 bonus at 10,000 safe miles + $300 bonus at 20,000 safe miles
• Elite Status: After training 6 students, earn a residual $0.01 CPM for every mile your students drive solo during their first year

Home Time

• Schedule: 11-day Mentor runs followed by 5 to 7 days home time
• Modern fleet: Late-model Freightliner Cascadias and Volvos equipped for OTR comfort

Paid Mentor Training

• Training pay: $850 upon completion of the 4-day certification
• Corporate hotel (Holiday Inn) and meals provided
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, clean MVR, and a passion for training the next generation
• Minimum 3 months verifiable solo OTR or regional experience
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screens (FMCSA compliant)
