Litigation Paralegal
A well-established firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation experience preferred. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong writing skills and a solid understanding of civil litigation procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing civil litigation cases from intake through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents
- Preparing and responding to written discovery
- Coordinating depositions, mediations, and court filings
- Maintaining case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines
- Assisting attorneys with trial preparation
- Communicating with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of civil litigation paralegal experience required
- Plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
- Premises liability experience is a plus.
