CDL-A Flex Driver (Team/Solo) – $1,400–$1,550 Weekly GUARANTEED | Dedicated | Alpharetta, GA

We are hiring CDL-A Flex Drivers based out of Alpharetta, GA to support a dedicated account. This is a high-priority, high-flexibility role where drivers fill in for coverage needs and run both team and solo routes (teaming 90% of the time) .

Hiring Area:

• Must live within 30 miles of Alpharetta, GA

Position Overview:

Flex Drivers provide coverage for routes when drivers are out sick, on vacation, or when additional capacity is needed. Freight includes aftermarket parts delivered directly to dealerships.

Drivers will:

• Deliver auto parts (hoods, bumpers, doors, etc.)
• Unload freight (cages, totes, and loose parts)
• Scan and verify deliveries
• Pick up returns
• Secure dealership locations after delivery
• Drivers must be comfortable maneuvering in tight dealership lots and corridors
  
  

Routes & Coverage Area:

• GA, AL, MS, TN, FL, NC, SC

Miles & Stops:

Solo:

• ~1,800 miles/week
• ~6 stops per day (5 days/week)

Team:

• ~3,950 miles/week
• ~7 stops per day (5 days/week)

Pay & Compensation:

Solo Drivers:

• $0.50 CPM (up to $0.555 max)
• Guaranteed Minimum: $1,400/week
• Average Annual Pay: $72,800

Team Drivers:

• $0.398 CPM (up to $0.428 max)
• Guaranteed Minimum: $1,550/week
• Average Annual Pay: $80,600

Additional Pay:

• Stop Pay:
  • $20.00 (Solo)
  • $8.00 (Team)
• Delay Pay:
  • $18.79/hr (Solo)
  • $9.27/hr (Team)
  • Begins after 15 minutes (excluding standard unload time unless dealer-caused delay)

Bonuses:

• $500 New Hire Bonus (paid on 2nd paycheck)
• $3,000 Referral Bonus
  • $1,000 on 2nd paycheck
  • $1,000 at 60 days
  • $1,000 at 120 days

Schedule:

• Monday – Saturday
• Start times vary: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM (primarily night driving)
• Flexibility required

Home Time:

• Team Drivers: Home weekly (10-hour breaks taken in truck)
• Solo Drivers: Home daily

Freight Details:

• Touch Freight Required.
• Handling cages, totes, and loose auto parts.
• Lift range: 40–75 lbs.
• Includes overhead (“attic”) trailer loading/unloading.

Equipment:

• 2020–2022 Freightliner & International (Automatic).
• 28’ & 48’ Dry Vans with lift gates.
• Equipped with PrePass & EZ Pass.
• Governed at 65 MPH.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A License
• 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• 3 months verifiable team experience (within last 3 years).
• Must be willing to run team routes (90%) and solo when needed.
• Ability to handle physical freight (40–75 lbs).
• Comfortable with tight backing and maneuvering in dealership lots.

Additional Info:

• Primarily night driving.
• No pets or passengers allowed.
• Home for major U.S. holidays.

Orientation:

• Held onsite in Alpharetta
• Tuesdays only
