We’re currently seeking an entry level Event Assistant who shares our passion for community engagement and is eager to develop a long-term career in the events and public relations field.

About the Role

The Event Assistant serves as the bridge between our nonprofit partners and the Savannah community. This entry level opportunity is designed for individuals who are ambitious, adaptable, and motivated to grow professionally while contributing to a cause that matters.

As an Entry Level Event Assistant, you’ll help execute outreach events that educate, engage, and encourage public involvement. From coordinating logistics to communicating directly with donors and attendees, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring each event represents our clients’ missions with excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent nonprofit campaigns at community and fundraising events as a professional Event Assistant
  • Engage directly with the public to communicate key messages, share stories, and encourage participation
  • Support all aspects of event setup, coordination, and execution with precision and enthusiasm
  • Collaborate with senior Event Assistants and management to analyze campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain accurate event records, community feedback, and engagement metrics for client reporting
  • Participate in ongoing entry level training sessions focused on communication, leadership, and nonprofit partnership management

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a natural ability to connect with others
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset and a professional approach to representing charitable partners
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Passion for philanthropy, social impact, or public service
  • 2-4 year College Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Entrepreneurship is a plus, but not required ( this is an entry level role designed for growth!)
  • 0-2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or events is ideal
