Production Shift Lead

(Full-time)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Production Shift Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations during your shift. You’ll coordinate staffing, oversee training, and support day-to-day production activities to keep everything running on time and at the highest quality. By working closely with the Quality and Process Engineering teams, you’ll help drive both performance and continuous improvement on the production floor.

• Supervise and support daily production operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
• Operate and oversee production equipment to meet production needs and customer specifications.
• Manage shift staffing and employee training to avoid disruptions in production.
• Keep accurate records of production time, materials used, training, and performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Lead and coach employees to work effectively across all production processes.
• Ensure OSHA and safety standards are consistently met.

You are a confident and proactive leader who takes ownership of your team and operations. With strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, you effectively coordinate people, processes, and priorities to keep production running smoothly. You are decisive, safety-conscious, and skilled at mentoring and developing team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to anticipate challenges and act strategically makes you a trusted point of contact for both your team and management.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Professional, reliable, and safety conscious.
• Strong math aptitude and organizational skills.
