Program Details:
Kahuas Internship Program provides a collaborative work experience giving students insight into a professional environment with meaningful work in your chosen field. During this 10-week program (May 26th July 31st) you will have the chance to participate in professional development workshops learn about projects across all areas of the company try skill-based competitions and more. Kahuas Internship Program is a full-time on-site opportunity at our headquarters in Alpharetta Georgia. All of our internship positions are paid offering an hourly rate that meets competitive industry standards.

What You Will Learn:
User Research Techniques: Conducting interviews surveys and usability tests to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma.
Information Architecture: Organizing and structuring content to ensure users can easily find what they need.
Interaction Design: Designing interactive elements and ensuring they provide a seamless user experience.
Visual Design Principles: Understanding color theory typography and layout to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
Accessibility Standards: Ensuring designs are accessible to all users including those with disabilities.

Requirements:
Familiarity with design tools like Figma Adobe XD or Sketch.
Basic knowledge of HTML CSS and responsive design principles.
Understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
A bonus would be a portfolio showcasing your design work and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
