We are seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Enter patients vitals and reason for visit into EMR
- Work with multiple providers including ENT and Allergy
- Administer allergy injections
- Order testing such as MRI, CT, barium swallow, etc.
- Answering a multi-line phone and schedule patients
- Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations
- Must travel between our Duluth and Snellville locations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
