Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current and valid RN license in good standing in New York State.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred but not required.
• Compassionate attitude toward elderly and chronically ill residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, infection prevention, and resident care standards.

What you’ll do

• Deliver quality nursing care, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Report patient observations and changes to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Unit Manager.
• Support residents’ daily needs and ensure timely response to concerns.
• Coordinate CNA assignments, monitor care delivery, and ensure completion of ADL documentation.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and punctuality in all duties.
