Job Summary

IMI is seeking a full-time Class A Truck Driver for our Watkinsville, GA office.

Essential Functions

The Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial trucks that move construction equipment and pick up / deliver parts.

• Operate industrial trucks and tractors.
• Use trucks to move material to and from construction site.
• Operate mobile, power-driven vehicles used to carry, push, pull, lift, stack, or tier material.
• Move heavy crates, drums, and boxes.
• Use devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel-hook, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch to move product equipment.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move ensuring timely and complete delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment.

Education and Experience

• Must have a valid Class A driver's license.
• Must be able to pass and maintain a clear driving history report.
• Must be familiar with the use of GPS systems, roadways, or maps to assist in route planning.
• Must have proven experience in commercial driving.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, & sit for extended periods at a time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• May be required to move items over 50 pounds with the use of a lift.
• Requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, twisting, bending, talking and hearing.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather.
• Must be able to pass the required DOT physical and drug screen to maintain a CDL.
