Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role involves providing patient care in a dynamic medical-surgical/telemetry environment, with a focus on patients experiencing renal and related health issues. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical skills and experience in managing diverse medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Manage patients with acute or chronic kidney disease, including ESRD
• Provide care for post-op urology/renal-related surgeries
• Monitor and manage electrolytes imbalances, diabetes, hypertension, and CHF
• Administer peritoneal dialysis and monitor peritoneal dialysis patients
• Initiate and manage IV and central line care
• Perform trach care, manage chest tubes, and start PIVs
• Provide wound care and post-operative monitoring
• Interpret cardiac telemetry and provide cardiac monitoring
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Facilitate discharge planning and patient education

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS and BCR certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• 2 years of experience in MedSurg or Telemetry
• Medical-Surgical or Nephrology Nursing certification preferred
• Proficiency in EMR: EPIC and use of medical equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis dispensing, and cardiac telemetry monitors
