Location: Cummings, GA
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for service and project work. This role is responsible for analyzing plans and specifications, developing pricing, and supporting both sales and operations teams throughout the pre-construction process. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and proposals for commercial roofing projects and service work

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine labor, materials, and timelines

• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to gather information and ensure accurate bids

• Manage bid tracking, maintain organized documentation, and support project handoff to operations

• Assist with submittals, product data, and pre-construction requirements

• Evaluate project costs and help improve estimating accuracy and profitability

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience

• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods

• Proficiency with estimating software (Edge preferred) and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment

Additional Preferred Experience

• Roofing or construction background

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

• Strong negotiation and customer-facing skills

Working Conditions
This position involves a combination of office and field work, including occasional site visits and roof inspections. Candidates should be comfortable climbing ladders, walking job sites, and performing standard office tasks. Local travel may be required.
