Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of web applications by implementing, managing, and optimizing WAF solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, WAF technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to protect web applications from cyber threats.
• Monitor and analyze WAF logs to identify and mitigate potential security incidents.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure application deployment and configuration.
• Perform regular security assessments and provide recommendations for improving WAF configurations.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to enhance WAF effectiveness.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding WAF-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer with a focus on Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Strong knowledge of WAF technologies and their implementation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.

Pay Range: $60- $65/hour on W2
