Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Provide pre and post recovery care for Radiology and Interventional radiology department including Ultrasound and CT procedures
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CKD, post organ transplant, radiation, oncology, and chronic hepatic/biliary disease
• Maintain 3:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Work every other weekend with holiday coverage requirements based on assignment length
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Work with 11 beds and daily census of 14 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience; first time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skills include arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, central line care, IV management, procedural sedation, PCA pump management, and RASS assessment
• Must complete clinical screening and manager review process
• Full compliance required to start on time with bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submittal
