Job Description

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

• Follow all safety requirements
• Certify Hazardous Materials Shipping Documents to comply with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), International, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and regulations
• Staging material for loading ensuring proper bracing and blocking if required
• Loading and unloading tanker trucks and railcars
• Area cleanup
• Other duties as assigned

Working Environment

• May be required to work shift work including weekends, and holidays
• Working at heights (top of railcars, tanker trucks and tanks, etc.)

Physical Activities

• Will be required to climb upon railcars, tanker trucks, and climb stairs
• Duties may involve working outdoors with a potential to exposure to extreme climatic conditions
• Work will require lifting up to 55lbs; stooping; climbing; prolonged standing and/or sitting
• Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas
• Prepare tanker & box trucks for shipments from plant
• Ensure proper handling of production raw materials, including staging and loading

Qualifications

• One year of related experience
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Bulk truck and railcar loading and unloading experience is preferred

Education

High School Diploma/GED
