Day Care Van Driver / Floater
Summary Transport students from area schools to day care center.
Ensure adherence to safety rules.
Additional duties may include helping in a classroom setting.
Split shift that includes early mornings and afternoons. Duties
- Pick up and drop off students at area schools and transport them back to the child care center.
- Must be available early mornings and return in the afternoon.
- Follow safety rules related to transporting small children.
- Maintain accurate reports to ensure compliance with Bright from the Start regulations.
- Follow strict time schedules.
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain order among students during trips to ensure safety.
- Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures.
- Assist in a classroom setting as necessary.
- Minimum two years experience as a Day Care Van Driver
- Valid and Current Georgia Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Current CPR/First aid certification
- Current BFTS Transportation training
- Early childhood or School Age classroom experience
- CDA certification or higher
