Business Development and Employee Engagement Specialist
:
The Business Development and Employee Engagement Specialist plays a critical, cross-functional role in supporting the mission and growth of Lifedoc Health. This position is responsible for expanding programs such as Vida Plus through business engagement and outreach, driving employee engagement initiatives, supporting internal and external communications, and assisting with select finance and operations tasks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Program Growth
· Promote and expand Lifedoc Health programs by building relationships with external businesses, community partners, and potential clients.
· Develop and implement strategies to grow the Vida Plus membership base and improve satisfaction.
· Maintain and support administrative operations of the Vida Plus program, including claims follow-up and client services.
· Identify and execute new business development opportunities aligned with Lifedoc's growth objectives.
· Lead, coordinate, and/or assist in various projects that help support Lifedoc's mission and standards
Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
· Create and execute initiatives to enhance workplace morale, communication, and team dynamics.
· Organize and lead employee engagement events, wellness activities, and team-building workshops.
· Collect and analyze staff feedback to inform engagement strategies and improve internal communication efforts.
Marketing & Outreach
· Lead internal and external marketing efforts including collateral development, social media content creation, and brand promotion.
· Support community outreach efforts and represent Lifedoc Health at external events as needed.
Finance & Administrative Support
· Reconcile invoices and assist with financial documentation to support the Accounting & Finance department.
· Accurately manage check and cash deposits from multiple clinic locations.
· Perform administrative duties such as mail sorting and assisting other departments when needed.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
· Demonstrated experience in business development, employee engagement, or a similar role.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business communication tools.
Preferred:
· Background in healthcare, wellness programs, or nonprofit environments.
· Familiarity with marketing platforms, social media tools, and content creation.
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
