Salary:

We are seeking an experienced industrial electrical site manager for a growth opportunity. We work in Food and Beverage, Material handling, Automotive and other industries, installing manufacturing equipment. This is a 100% travel position with regular overtime and per diem benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from ramp up to completion.
• Perform site inspections- checking quality of work.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Assist management with the change order and cost managementof the project.
• Keeping work within the job scope.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Comply with all appropriate safety standards and laws.
• Lead site safety meetings as required.
• Monitor job clock and sign in sheets and coordinate with the office to ensure proper time tracking policies are enforced.
• Make sure all appropriate policies and procedures are being executed.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction procedures.
• Request permits as needed.
  

Requirements and Skills

• Read Blueprints
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• MS Office
• In-depth understanding of electrical procedures and material and project management principles.
• Knowledge of safety and health standards.
• Knowledge of NEC code and standards.
• At least 2-3 years of leading experience.
• Industrial electrician or mechanical experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, diagnosing, and repairing components and machinery.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or able to obtain ) Certification.
