Salary:
We are seeking an experienced industrial electrical site manager for a growth opportunity. We work in Food and Beverage, Material handling, Automotive and other industries, installing manufacturing equipment. This is a 100% travel position with regular overtime and per diem benefits.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects from ramp up to completion.
- Perform site inspections- checking quality of work.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Assist management with the change order and cost managementof the project.
- Keeping work within the job scope.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Comply with all appropriate safety standards and laws.
- Lead site safety meetings as required.
- Monitor job clock and sign in sheets and coordinate with the office to ensure proper time tracking policies are enforced.
- Make sure all appropriate policies and procedures are being executed.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction procedures.
- Request permits as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Read Blueprints
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- MS Office
- In-depth understanding of electrical procedures and material and project management principles.
- Knowledge of safety and health standards.
- Knowledge of NEC code and standards.
- At least 2-3 years of leading experience.
- Industrial electrician or mechanical experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, diagnosing, and repairing components and machinery.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or able to obtain ) Certification.
