Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical care in a fast-paced emergency department, supporting a high-volume Level 1 trauma center. This role primarily involves nursing for boarder patients in the ED who may require med/surg, step-down, or ICU-level care. Flexibility to float to acute units is also necessary, ensuring comprehensive patient support across departments.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similarly sized Level 1 trauma ED
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, including handling med/surg, step-down, and ICU-level boarders
- Proven ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Complete, gap-free resume along with an ED skills checklist and emergency department references
- Ability to provide all required demographic information and a professional badge photo
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critical and boarder patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Assist in maintaining efficient workflow during peak department volumes
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies
