Industrial Millwright Technician - Process Equipment

Build, repair, and keep critical machinery running at Process Equipment and Controls (PEC)

Step into a hands-on role where your mechanical expertise keeps production moving. As a Millwright with PEC, you’ll spend your days installing precision equipment, aligning components, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and traveling to customer sites when projects require it. Expect a mix of independent problem-solving and team-based execution—always with safety and quality at the forefront.

What you’ll do

• Install, align, move, and assemble industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform TIG, MIG, and Arc welding (preferred) for fabrication and repair.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment, valves, and gearboxes.
• Apply structured, step-by-step troubleshooting and data-driven decision-making.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve mechanical and technical issues.
• Maintain strong personal safety and environmental awareness on every task.
• Use and wear required PPE, including respirators, as needed.
• Travel out of town to customer facilities as project schedules and needs arise.

What you bring

• 2–3 years of mechanical or millwright experience.
• Solid knowledge of industrial machinery assembly techniques.
• Fluency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites during the work week as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Physical demands

Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions. Frequently handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
