Billing Specialist I

Randstad is seeking a Billing Specialist for our global freight brokerage client.

Are you an organized professional with a knack for detail and a passion for problem-solving? In this role, you will play a key part in keeping freight and transportation operations running smoothly. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and logistics providers to review freight bills, resolve billing roadblocks, and speed up the payment cycle—all while delivering top-tier service.

• Location: Gainesville, GA 30501
• Duration: 6-month contract (with potential to extend or transition to permanent)
• Pay Rate: $19.00 – $19.50 / hour

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning, or transportation/logistics.
• strong problem-solving abilities and great attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Associate degree in Business, Transportation/Logistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Billing Issues: Proactively analyze carrier freight bills to catch errors or duplicate charges before they reach the customer.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal departments and transportation providers to gather required documentation and clear order holds.
• Streamline Processes: Continuously look for ways to shorten the billing cycle and boost overall efficiency.
• Deliver Great Service: Keep internal and external partners informed with clear, accurate, and timely communication.
