Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + Uncapped Commission

Target Earnings: $80,000+

Position Overview

A growing business services organization is seeking a Licensed Commercial Insurance Agent to join its expanding insurance solutions team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, supporting existing clients, and delivering commercial insurance solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.

Job Duties

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and direct outreach
• Market commercial insurance products to business owners and decision-makers
• Generate insurance quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations
• Follow up on inbound leads and quote requests
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect records within company systems
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding policies, coverage, audits, and renewals
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance as needed
• Communicate directly with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy servicing, audits, and customer requests
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products and services
• Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
• Assist with departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
• Minimum 3 years of insurance industry experience
• Commercial Lines insurance experience strongly preferred
• Life & Health License is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales and service environment
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression preferred
