Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the logistics services and supervisory duties of a team of 5. Team supports various customers in the medical device industry. This role will coordinate and execute all pick, pack and ship activities of current and new customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Distribute materials, products and parts based on incoming requests.
- Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages while preparing instruments and implants for surgery.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to meet OSHA and FDA regulations.
- Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products through proper regulatory and quality procedures.
- Assess product delivery choices and work with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (e.g. loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
- Provide Inventory and data analysis while supporting quality initiatives.
- Reconcile inventory accounts annually.
- Meet established metrics for operations (i.e. turns, service levels).
- Prepare records of inventory shortages and shipments.
- Compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, discrepancies and adjust for errors.
- Keep records of all interactions and transactions of data regarding product and inventory inquires.
- Manage inventories by tracking inventory records reflecting product movement, notifying departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies
- Manage reports, and analyze account metrics and productivity standards.
- Organize, retrieve or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources
- Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed
- Use computers to enter, access, retrieve data
- Utilize processes and tools for scheduling surgeries
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in similar industries
- Experience in working in a matrix environment in which collaboration in all directions is necessary
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Oracle or SAP
- Experience working in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment
- Effective communicator that can write and speak clearly in a variety of settings

Physical Demands
- Moderate to heavy physical activity. Lifting of at least 50 pounds
- Standing, sitting or moving for extended amounts of time
- Occasional overnight travel
