Schedule - 7:00 a.m. - until production is complete

Load empty baskets into Whallon. Keep track of can count for each basket, remove full baskets and tag with heat sensitive tags and color coded tags.

A. SPECIFIC TASKS: 

1. Load empty baskets into Whallon.

2. Take 1 can off of first layer of each basket.

3. For each layer, monitor missing or damaged cans and misprinted cans.

4. Place divider sheets between each layer of cans.

5. Remove baskets when full.

6. Maintain a clean work area.

7. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

8. Comply with Company policies and Safety requirements.

9. Never put hands in moving machinery!

JOB BREAKDOWN:

Task 1:

Load empty baskets into Whallon.

1. Push empty basket into Whallon and push start cycle button.

Task 2:

Take one can off of first layer of each basket.

1. Take one can off of first layer of each basket.

2. Write the basket number on Whallon basket count sheet and fill out heat sensitive basket tag with a pencil with the basket number, can code, the first can seamed time, the date and operator name.

Task 3:

For each layer monitor missing or damaged cans and misprinted cans.

1. Take one can off of each layer and check for can code then place back.

2. Monitor each layer for missing or damaged cans and keep track of count.

Task 4:

Place divider sheets between each layer of cans, except for the first and last layer.

Task 5:

Remove baskets when full.

1. When basket is full, pull it out of Whallon and push an empty basket in.

2. Count layers and write quantity on heat sensitive tag using pencil.

3. Place collected can upside down, heat sensitive tag and colored tag on top of the first layer of the basket.

Task Performance Standard – The information recorded on the heat sensitive basket tag will be accurate. All layers will have plastic liners between the, The first can, the eat sensitive tag and the colored coded tag will be on top of the basket .

Task 6:

Maintain a clean work area.

1. Pick up any cans that fall on floor in and around Whallon machine and put in appropriate container to be destroyed.

2. Dispose of any cans in discard container when full or at the end of every shift.
