Location: Athens, GA | Pay Rate: $17/hour | Schedule: Mon-Thu (3:30pm - 2am) {Occasional OT on Fridays and/or Saturdays}

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the HVAC manufacturing industry to hire a dependable Forklift (PIV) Operator . What You'll Do

As a Forklift (PIV) Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting warehouse and production operations by safely transporting materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production lines have what they need to stay on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), including forklifts, reach trucks, tuggers, and order pickers.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production lines safely and efficiently.

• Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.

• Use handheld scanners to complete inventory transactions and material movements.

• Supply production lines with materials to support manufacturing schedules.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed, including rotating between PIV and non-PIV assignments.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environments.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, or other Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).

• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.

• Forklift certification is a plus; training is available for candidates with relevant warehouse or material handling experience.

Work Requirements

• Steel-toe shoes are required.

• Long pants and sleeved shirts (short or long sleeves) must be worn at all times.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
