Payroll Specialist - Alpharetta GA
This is more than a traditional payroll role, encompassing payroll tax filings, benefits administration, reporting, compliance, and employee support.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume, multi-state weekly payroll
- Audit timesheets and process payroll adjustments
- Maintain payroll records and timekeeping system
- File federal, state, and unemployment payroll taxes
- Process W-2s, W-3s, and year-end payroll
- Resolve payroll issues and support employees
- Generate payroll reports and analytics
- Partner with HR and Accounting on payroll compliance
- Administer payroll deductions and benefits
- Ensure payroll tax compliance and improve processes
- Multi-state payroll experience
- High-volume payroll processing
- Payroll tax compliance
- Payroll tax filings
- Payroll systems experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vista Viewpoint (preferred)
- Construction payroll (preferred)
- CPP certification (preferred)
- Benefits administration (preferred)
