Industrial Manufacturing Refrigeration Maintenance
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Replace or repair faulty components and parts
- Calibrate and adjust system controls and settings
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Document maintenance and repair activities
- Coordinate with other technicians and supervisors
- Respond to emergency repair calls as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Proven experience as an industrial refrigeration mechanic
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Familiarity with ammonia and Freon-based systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
