Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 6-week assignment duration
• Must be available to work varied days per week
• On-call responsibilities as per unit needs
• Minimum every other weekend required
• Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Partner with patients and families through bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Complete timely documentation and promote respectful clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for other nurses and staff
• Required licenses: Georgia RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must possess strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
• Completed Wellstar cover sheet required for submission
