Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Tax Manager to join our team at the Dayton, OH office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging solid technical skills, formulating recommendations, and implementing solutions to address complex technical issues. The role requires a quick and effective grasp of new skills, coupled with the ability to share technical depth with team members to enhance the firm's overall technical expertise. The Senior Tax Manager will actively participate in ongoing training to stay abreast of current technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and provide solutions to intricate technical issues.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing within the team to enhance the firm's technical expertise.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firm's philosophy, reports, policies, procedures, and opinions on financial matters.
Promote efficient firm operations through effective staff management and training.
Make informed decisions, considering general economic and political trends, proposed pronouncements, and potential legislative changes affecting the business climate.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Senior Tax Manager in a reputable CPA firm.
