Atlanta-based boutique spirits company Sneaky Pete Spirits is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to spearhead our sales & field marketing strategy for our Yacht Water and Pedro Furtivo brands in the South. We were founded by a group of friends who value quality and doing things the right way: a 6th generation agave farmer (Omar Martinez), the husband & wife duo behind Monday Night Brewing (Peter and Rachel Kiley), a grammy-award winning artist (Lil Yachty) and a music mogul (Kevin “Coach K” Lee). We are black-owned, Mexican-owned, female-founded and have a female CEO.

Preference will be given to candidates based in Georgia with deep working relationships with critical retail and on-premise spirits retailers, as well as our distributor, Savannah. We will prioritize candidates with specific experience growing craft spirits brands (through best-in-class retail & on-premise/mixology execution) in our key territories.

You will be the face of our brands in the Georgia market.. The ideal candidate has an incredible work ethic and the ability to inspire confidence across both internal and external stakeholders.

    • Inspired by the signature-yet-simple Texas-born cocktail known as “Ranch Water,” Yacht Water is exclusively made with 100% agave, additive-free reposado tequila, key lime juice, sparkling water and sea salt. Free of any preservatives, artificial flavors or processing agents, Yacht Water is available now in three flavors: Key Lime, Jalapeño and Sunrise (also a variety pack).

High-Level Goals:

  • Grow sales by building awareness around the quality and intentionality around the Sneaky Pete Spirits brand
  • Be an expert resource on Sneaky Pete Spirits (and spirits in general) for retailers
  • Build strong relationships with our wholesaler partners, ensuring they are informed and educated around all things Sneaky Pete

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new account openings and POD expansion to achieve our sales goals in the Georgia market
  • 40 direct account visits per week
  • Leverage your distributor partners to drive as many sales as possible: constant communication, meetings & sales events
  • Execute point-of-sale and “perfect store” strategy to drive additional sell-through
  • Hire, train & manage a team of tasting representatives to execute our liquid-to-lips strategy
  • Stay within budget by category
  • Small focus on Monday Night Brewing products

Qualifications:

  • Dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High sense of urgency and energy.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google docs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment.
  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures.

Optional, But Not Required:

  • Tiki glassware collector
  • Sudoku expert

Metrics for Success:

  • Sales development
  • New account activation
  • On and off premise account vitality with Sneaky Pete brand and account relationship
  • Wholesaler maintenance and account relationships

Expectations:

  • Salary Range: $60-65k base + bonus
  • Percent of Time Traveling: 50%+
  • Benefits: Health insurance, PTO
