The Music Department has an extensive after-school private instruction program and is currently accepting applications to address an immediate staffing need. We expect to schedule interviews in mid to late January 2026. Our lessons program runs throughout the school year. The school has a set fee schedule for lessons, and lesson instructors are part-time AIS employees paid through the school.

Provide private music lesson instructions to students in 30, 45, or 60-minute weekly lessons. This is a part-time position, perhaps one or two afternoons per week (instructor sets schedule with parents) from 3:00 PM onward.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in Music Education (preferred) OR Performance with professional proficiency and experience with teaching, performance, and pedagogy. Master or Doctorate level college students with experience in teaching and the recommendation of two college instructors may also apply.
