We are looking for a talented Automotive Mechanic to join our growing company.

Mechanic Job Summary:

• We have a position available for a dual roll Shop Foreman/Technician at our Extremely Busy Alpharetta, Georgia location.
• We have locations in both Georgia and Texas.
• We provide both individual Repair Services for European Cars as well as Fleet Support for FedEx and Amazon.
• European Service Center has been in business since 1980.
• Because of the ever-increasing complexity of modern-day automobiles, the business landscape will be changing for the automotive industry.
• Many “Mom and Pop Shops” can’t afford the diagnostic equipment necessary to Properly Diagnosis and Repair many drivability issues.
• Our shops have the latest and best diagnostic equipment available. In addition to Factory Level Diagnostic Platforms, each location has Autels, Autolands, Autologic, Diagnostic Oscilloscopes, Medical Grade Full Articulating Borescopes, etc.
• We offer not only Factory Level Training but also Lab Scope Training.
• As well we have third-party phone support and tool access support, where someone will remotely jump on the diagnostic tool and help guide you thru the fix.
• Added to the above we have Alldata, Identifix, Mitchell Pro Demand, and Factory Information like TIS, WIS, etc.

Job Details:

• The individual in this role will be responsible for servicing and repairing European cars.
• We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in automotive repair, as well as experience with electronic system diagnostics.

Shop Foreman Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• European Car Repair Experience is Desired but not Required.
• Advanced Experience With Electronic Systems Diagnostics and Repair.
• EV and Hybrid Certification a Plus but Not Required.
• Must Be Proficient With Lab Scope.
• Good computer skills are required.
• Certification in a related field from a vocational school is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills (will be expected to relay auto repair information to customers and other mechanics).
• Detail-oriented and thorough, organized.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanically and analytically minded.

Shop Forman Responsibilities:

• Manage Shop Area including but not limited to Hiring and Training Technicians.
• Verify processes are put into place to accurately repair and service customers' vehicles.
• Act as a liaison between the office manager and technicians to rectify any issues.
• Create a Clean and Safe Working Shop Environment.
• Make sure all shop tools and diagnostic equipment are kept in good order and updated.
• Attend Advanced Diagnostic Training Classes and Instruct Shop Staff.
• Examine cars based on customer requests and/or concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance including rotating tires, checking fluid levels, and changing oil.
• Repair or replace worn parts and systems such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors.
• Test systems and individual parts to ensure the proper working order and/or to evaluate the degree of damage
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both computerized diagnostic equipment and the naked eye.
• Determine appropriate repair measures based on research, peer-to-peer examination, and past experience.
• Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately, taking into account original repair strategy and customer specifications.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
