Her People Co. is hiring Food Service Assistant Substitutes to work in Cobb County School District cafeterias across 112 school locations.
This is a W-2 position — you’re our employee, we handle your taxes, workers’ comp, and pay you weekly via direct deposit.
What You’ll Do:
∙ Prepare and serve food to students and staff
∙ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and serving areas
∙ Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
∙ Operate kitchen equipment safely
∙ Assist with cashiering and meal counting as needed
Requirements:
∙ Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
∙ Must pass a fingerprint-based background check (GCIC/FBI) — paid by us
∙ Must pass a pre-employment drug test — paid by us
∙ Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
∙ Food service or cafeteria experience preferred but not required
∙ Must be available for same-day and advance-notice assignments
