Systems Engineering Lead - remote

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing the performance and security of large-scale networking infrastructures. You will focus on system programming and management while collaborating with diverse teams to implement innovative solutions. Your efforts will directly support mission-critical facilities and drive the continuous improvement of technical operations. Your impact will be felt across corporate and governmental users as we advance our capabilities and explore emerging technologies.

Accountabilities

• Assist with the analysis, evaluation, engineering, and implementation of system improvements, optimization, and deployments.
• Develop and implement designs for large, complex multi-site data center infrastructure and virtualized environment solutions.
• Document designs, and changes to infrastructure environments including physical/logical drawings and engineering design plans.
• Implement, test, and operate large complex data center and virtualized compute, storage, and network environments.
• Perform security updates to hardware and software to ensure the security posture across all systems.
• Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies by collaborating with industry partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience developing and implementing integrated hardware and software solutions.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with executive leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in performing technical cross-training and coaching of junior colleagues.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio is a plus.
