Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including ongoing assessment and responsive intervention.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition; manage ventilator support, hemodynamics, and vasoactive medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other health care professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and therapies, document assessments and interventions in the medical record, and ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with policies.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and expected outcomes; participate in discharge planning and referrals as needed.
- Uphold nursing standards in line with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics; contribute to a safe, high-quality care environment and support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Georgia
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work the assigned nights and 3x12-hour shifts
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical policies and evidence-based practice
