Here's what you'd do:

• Coordinate warehouse activities, including tools and equipment used for classroom training, and facilitate shipping and receiving for the rest of the facility.
• The main focus of the position is to optimize delivery reliability and delivery quality through
• Proactive coordination between customers (internal and external) and carriers
• Training Equipment (simulators) builds, updates, and maintains
• Training Equipment (simulators) scheduling and management
• Shipping and receiving:
  1. Accept incoming shipments, compare with the shipping documents, and deliver or notify the recipient
  2. Facilitate and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  3. Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
  4. Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them, and provides the information if needed.
  5. Captures relevant data in data processing systems.
  6. Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
  7. Organizes regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
  8. Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging, and other instructions (e.g., Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
  9. Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (walk-behind forklift, and hand truck)
  10. Completes transports inside and, if applicable, outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
• Equipment Management:
  1. Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy
  2. Build new equipment (per specifications of SME)
  3. Update, repair, and maintain equipment (per specifications of SME)
  4. Build and maintain (per specifications of SME) PG/PC images
  5. Position operates with a dedicated, limited range of user interfaces or functionalities in standardized software programs, strictly related to their specific processes
  6. Accurately record and track equipment locations
  7. Accurately record and track HW/SW revisions and updates
• Support:
  1. Quickly respond to shipping and equipment issues
  2. Captures relevant data in logistics systems
  3. Understand customer capabilities and coordinate shipping logistics end-to-end
• Warehouse supervision:
  1. Use a walk-behind forklift to move and organize equipment
  2. Organizes regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area
  3. Oversees tactical training of new warehouse personnel on a day-to-day basis.
• Picking from equipment bills of material
• Scheduling outbound shipments of the pallets of equipment
• Thoughtful consideration of the cost of shipping and returning equipment to our facility
• Maintaining a stock of shipping materials
• Imaging and maintaining laptop computers while doing other work around the warehouse.
• Using the walk-behind forklift to put equipment not in use back onto the shelves.

• Pay rate: $17.50/hr
• Hours: 40 Hours/Week 1 st Shift

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Forklift experience
• Strong computer skills using Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Critical thinking
• Problem solver and attention to detail in the job role.
