Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience is needed for a travel assignment in Marietta, GA. This role supports a very busy Emergency Department (ED) float pool at a major Level 1 trauma center. The primary responsibility will be staffing the ED to care for boarded patients across various acuity levels, including medical/surgical, stepdown, and ICU. Flexibility to float to an acute care unit may also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient, high-quality nursing care to critically ill and injured patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
- Manage patients awaiting admission by offering skilled nursing support across different units as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with nursing protocols.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume Level 1 trauma ED.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical care skills specific to emergency nursing.
- Resume must show continuous employment without gaps.
- Ability to provide an ED skills checklist and professional references from emergency nursing roles.
