💼 About the Role

We’re looking for an SDR Team Lead to build, manage, and scale sunday’s US sales development team, reporting directly to the US CRO. This is a leadership role with end-to-end ownership of top-of-funnel strategy, execution, and team performance. You will be responsible for defining how SDRs operate at sunday: building the team, setting performance standards, designing outbound strategy, and creating the foundation for a scalable sales development engine. In the early stage of the US build, this role will be hands-on and quota-carrying , leading from the front while the team ramps. As the organization scales, the role will evolve toward full-time team leadership and strategic ownership. You will be directly accountable for qualified pipeline generation and early funnel performance, working closely with Sales, RevOps, and leadership.

🔥 Key Responsibilities


Build and Grow the SDR Team

  • Reports directly to the US CRO and partners closely to build and scale the US SDR team.
  • Create the “sunday SDR playbook”: qualification standards, outreach best practices, call frameworks, and CRM discipline.
  • Run regular coaching sessions, call reviews, role plays, and performance feedback loops.
  • Establish clear ramp milestones for each SDR and track quota attainment during and after ramp.
  • Foster a high-energy, accountable, growth-oriented team culture.

Pipeline & Outbound Ownership

  • Own US outbound pipeline generation and be directly accountable for meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and early-stage funnel performance.
  • Execute high-quality outbound yourself while setting standards for volume, quality, and conversion.
  • Define prospecting strategy across cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and targeted field activity.
  • Continuously improve conversion rates through experimentation with messaging, sequencing, and outreach strategy.

Enablement, Process & Operating Rhythm

  • Design onboarding and ramp frameworks to drive fast time-to-productivity.
  • Partner with RevOps and Enablement to improve tooling, workflows, and reporting.
  • Establish core SDR metrics and operating cadence to support scale (activity quality, conversion, pipeline contribution).
  • Build repeatable, scalable processes that allow the SDR function to grow without losing quality.

😊 About You

  • 3–5+ years in SDR/BDR or Inside Sales, ideally in SaaS or tech.
  • Demonstrated success leading or mentoring SDRs with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Proven ability to implement onboarding, enablement, and ramp programs that drive faster productivity.
  • Strong command of CRM, sequencing, and enablement tools (Salesforce, Clay, Modjo, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to coach and drive accountability.
  • High energy, humility, and bias for action, you lead from the front.
  • Bonus: experience in restaurant tech or hospitality.
